THE ORIGINAL FRENCH ROLLING PIN

The Original French Rolling Pin

THE ORIGINAL FRENCH ROLLING PIN

I love to cook, especially bake.   I make at least 50 dozen cookies each holiday season. I also love making pie dough and bread dough, baguettes and more.

When I saw this rolling pin, I wondered why it was shaped as it is and why is it the “original French rolling pin”

After using it for a few days, I can see the advantages to using the Original French Rolling Pin. You have much more control with the pressure you put on the pin and on the dough.  It is easier to use than the pins with the handles. It is also easier to clean.  You simple wipe the pin with a damp cloth and let it dry or dry it with an unused towel. This will keep it free from bacteria. NEVER immerse it in the water to wash it.

The tapered shape of the French rolling pin is used to make circles and thin dough, usually for pizza. The French pin gives you much more control of your dough.

I received this rolling pin at a low cost in exchange for my honest review.
